LMFC member, John Pascoe was awarded the Clubman of the Year Shield at the clubs Annual Mince Pie and Mulled Wine flying day.

John has been a member of LMFC for the last 2 years and has been a regular at the field on Saturdays and Thursday flying days. John has had lots flying tuition from the clubs instructors, Pete, Phil and Terry. Experiencing many flights on the buddy lead and then solo with an an instructor close by to give verbal instructions. John is a great character and has been given lots of stick and leg pulling (in the nicest possible way of course)

We are glad to say he has now finally achieved his target of being able to fly solo.

Well done John! 

I guess you will be up for your A Licence in 2008?
