The Lansdown Model Flying Club AGM 2009 was held on the 6th December at Weston Ex-Service Mans Club, in Weston, Bath. The turn-out was excellent, and a good debate was had by all. Club purchases 3 gliders

The LMFC Committee recently agreed to purchase from club funds 3 J. Perkins THRUSH powered gliders. These gliders will be available for any club member (subject to certain safety restrictions) to fly at our field for pleasure or competition flying. Mitchell Lines passes A licence examination

New junior club member Mitchell Lines took his A test on Sunday at his other model flying club and becomes the 3rd junior member in our club to hold a BMFA A licence qualification. Congratulations to Peter Short who took his A test for the first time in late May. 12 year old Peter took the test under the strict guidelines set by the BMFA and certified by club examiner Phil Crouch.
